Onverharde Weg naar Vrede plot

On November 23, 2016, the Colombian government and the rebel movement FARC signed a peace agreement to end the 53-year-long war between the two sides. The village of Caldono was the epicenter of the bloody battle for years. Many guerrillas were born there and joined the movement at a young age. They ravaged their own village for decades with attacks, causing many civilian casualties. Now that the peace agreement is in place and the FARC is slowly being dismantled, the fighters must return to their communities. The director follows them.
