The Spy Who Fell to Earth plot
This documentary explores the life and mysterious death of Ashraf Marwan, an Egyptian billionaire and Israeli spy. Not only death, but also the life of Ashraf Marwan (1944-2007) is still surrounded by many mysteries. Both Egypt and the Israeli secret service Mossad claim him as a hero and a patriot, while for a long time in the 1970s he played both sides against each other. This escalated into the bloody Yom Kippur War in October 1973, after which the countries struck a peace that lasted for decades.
