The Belly of the Whale plot
When Joey Moody decides to run away from his foster home, he returns to his hometown of Laytown, where he hopes to reclaim his parents' old caravan park and rebuild the friendship with his best buddy. At the same time, Ronald, a desperate 50-year-old, risks his entire savings in a shady Chinese teddy bear store to pay for his ailing wife's medication. Their paths cross.
