Mae-choon plot
When Soo-hyeon's husband disappears with the northern sun, she and her teenage daughter are saddled with a huge debt burden. However much Soo-hyeon pleads, the lender does not relent: he wants his money back anyway. By way of preliminary relief, he rapes Soo-hyeon and not much later her daughter. But it doesn't stop there.
