From the maker of the Camping films.

Is essentially all the same, except it's now set in an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. The frame changes, the humor is the same. Yet this comedy is not a disaster. Yes, it's mainly about all kinds of relationship problems and the search for love again, but the characters are pretty crazy. Certainly Dubosc as the anything but normal ex-truck driver who is extremely annoying at first but then gradually manages to arouse more sympathy, becomes funnier as the film progresses. Demaison complements him well as Bruno who hangs out at this resort for a week without his wife. A nod also to Thierry Lhermitte and Josiane Balasko, who in the 1970s put the French-flavored holiday comedy on the map with their Bronzés films and also referred to it.

It's not all successful, but the fact that I never got annoyed and that there was a joke now and then that could make me laugh makes it quite a decent comedy for me. The Dutch have also made a remake of this.
