Claire, a ravishingly beautiful young woman, works at her late father's hotel, now run by her stepmother Maud. Claire unknowingly arouses uncontrollable jealousy in Maud, whose lover has fallen in love with her stepdaughter. And so Maud tries to get rid of Claire forever. Claire is rescued at the last minute by a man who welcomes her to his farm, where he lives with his twin brother and a melancholy cellist. Soon, seven men fall for her charm, each ready to help. For Claire, this is the beginning of a radical emancipation that is both carnal and sentimental.

Little appreciation here for this variation on the story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs and the wicked stepmother, who sees her as a rival and tries to poison her with an apple. And with a few more. No, that is not a spoiler, everyone knows the story and just look at that beautiful poster, it tells the whole story. Well, almost the whole story because this Snow White is played by the gorgeous Lou de Laage, who besides the wicked stepmother (Isabelle Huppert) has seven men on her tail, who all fall under her spell and want to save her. Like moths in the light they flutter after her. This Snow White sleeps with some, because she is not averse to it, but with others she does not. The film starts off a bit slow, but after that it is a joy to watch and the ending is stunning. The film is set in the South of France and the images are beautiful.
