Fairly standard weekday rescue film about a man who finds himself in a very precarious situation. And if it's based on true facts, then you can't suddenly add everything to spice it up.

The effect is quite decent and you know how it will end, but the approach is, as said, OK. The only thing that bothered me was the frequent meaningless flashbacks to stretch the plot. They took me out of the story and atmosphere.

With the flashbacks it is actually quickly clear how it ends. Well, true happened, and with the 'real' Álvaro also in the picture for a moment. By the way, he looks a lot more sympathetic than Hernandez, I immediately dislike that head. But, it's a nice sunny film in the middle of a dark and depressed winter, and it gives me a little light in my living room. Come to think of it, wow what a landscape there. Maybe I should just get over my aversion to flying.

Beautiful people, beautiful images of a beautiful island. But it doesn't get really exciting, it is therefore based on truth and then you soon have that, I think. I also had a hard time empathizing with the main character. Certainly not bad though.
