The Princess Switch plot
In the week before Christmas, the Duchess of Montenaro named Margaret trades places with the lookalike Stacy, an American from Chicago. Things get complicated when Margaret falls in love with Stacy's coworker with a little help of magic. The latter falls for Margaret's fiancée.

"Christmas wishes have been known to come true."
Great Christmas movie. Vanessa Hudgens' energetic acting is especially infectious, and she clearly enjoys playing two different roles. If you want originality and unpredictability then you won't enjoy The Princess Switch, but I don't think anyone will watch a Christmas movie for that. Snow, romance, sympathetic actors, sweet songs, a feel-good ending and of course New York as one of the locations. The Princess Switch has it all.
