From Dark plot

An alien virus has landed on Earth, anyone who gets infected gets an unstoppable urge for human blood. Kawano is working on an antidote, but because he has no test subjects, he injects himself with the virus. His girlfriend worries about Kawano, especially when she finds that Kawano's antidote is less effective than hoped.
