Matt Green, 37, has been pursuing an unusually personal goal for over six years. He walks through every street in New York City - a journey of almost 13,000 kilometers, taking him through hundreds of neighborhoods. To continue this project, Matt quit his job as an engineer, gave up his apartment and discarded most of his possessions. He now lives on about $15 a day and spends the night in a multitude of apartments in the city. When not on the road, Matt spends his time researching the myriad of curiosities that catch his eye on his journey, be it a "National Historic Landmark" or a humble manhole cover. While he's devoted years of his life to this pursuit, Matt doesn't know why he's doing it.
