Bing He Zhui Xiong plot
Two bodies are discovered in quick succession in the ice of a frozen lake in northeast China. Police captain Zhou is in charge of the investigation. He is joined by a young Shanghai detective who is busy tracking down a missing person. It turns out that the two victims and the missing man were all involved in a refinery that has since closed down, which seriously polluted the surface water in the region a few years ago with its chemical waste.
