Solomon is the king of the African city of Zimba. The town is on top of a mine, but Solomon has never entered the mine because he is not after the gold. This in contrast to his assistant Riad, who dreams of all the gold in the mine. Together with Queen Fazira - who is the head of a local tribe - he decides to invade Solomon's castle and take over the city.
