“They'll Love Me When I'm Dead” tells the story of legendary director Orson Welles at the end of his career. He was no longer the "Wonder Boy" brimming with success as the director of Citizen Kane, but an artist in exile whose luck ran out. "The Other Side of the Wind" was the feature film intended as his Hollywood comeback. He struggled to complete it for over six years, filming whenever he could make money through performances. It all ended in 1985. The film was left unfinished at his death, sitting in a vault for nearly four decades.
