Customs Officer Tina is known for her extraordinary sense of smell. It's almost like she can inhale someone's guilt when they're hiding something. But when Vore, a suspicious-looking man, walks past her, her skills are challenged for the first time. Tina notices that Vore is hiding something she can't identify. As Tina develops a special bond with Vore and discovers his true identity, she also realizes the truth about herself.

Intriguing fairy tale of Swedish origin, this Gräns. Again glad that I went into the film with little prior knowledge and without having seen a trailer or having read a review, that works best here again. Because Gräns has plenty of pleasant surprises in store, especially if you have no idea in advance where it is going. The film is very mysterious, but fortunately the approach is remarkably down to earth and realistic. Aside from a lot of imaginative sequences, the film doesn't feel like pure fantasy, but like a captivating personal drama, with two strong protagonists. It's amazing how natural this film feels and how tension is built up with very few resources. The film went on a bit too long in my opinion, it started to drag a little bit towards the end here and there. But fortunately those were only small moments, for the majority of Gräns I was very fascinated watching something very beautiful, in without doubt one of the most intriguing and original films of the year.

Weird film, and I have nothing to do with this anyway. The film starts off well and is reasonably acted, but goes down a path that I can't handle. That little world didn't want to live for me, and the characters all start doing strange things. And then it's a long, tedious ride, distasteful too. Even if the make-up is good, it's still not nice to look at those yellow teeth or people who are eating dirty. I don't see a metaphor in this for outsiders or minorities if necessary, this is too far removed from reality to see something from reality reflected in it. 1.0*.

Told my parents (somewhat conservative and 70+) yesterday that I saw a movie about a woman who works at customs and that she smells when people are carrying alcohol, drugs or sex. She looks a bit like a Neanderthal. During her work she meets a passer-by who also resembles a Neanderthal. They fall in love, make love where the woman appears to have a telescope penis and the man a cut from the front. Completely logical, because they turned out to be both trolls, they are ambiguous and also have (or had) a tail... !
That turned out to be enough info, so I left the filthy pedo thing for what it was. Together they listened in silence until that telescope dick came up: my mother couldn't contain her laughter while my father asked if I wanted to speak a little softer 
Strange film, with a fantastic chemistry between the two main characters. Weird, but understandable and easy to follow! 7.5/10*
