I'm not allowed to watch movies anymore, because I'm giving this 3 instead of 1. But seriously now, this was just very mediocre as expected, but what do you expect when you look at a title like "The Jurassic Games"? It is remarkable that Netflix is starting to stock SyFy-style films now too.

The acting is what still manages to salvage the film somewhat; Merriman really portrays a likeable host and manages to get the most out of his limited role. The contestants themselves are a bit weaker, especially the "tough" characters, which undoubtedly fall flat.

The dinosaurs look terrible, but it's just a notch better than the pure SyFy movies. Especially when that tiger jumps through the air in slow motion, I actually thought it was pretty decent but sometimes it falls completely flat, as expected of course.

They came up with some creative ideas, and I do see some good effects, like that little camera robot, so I wonder why the actual spectacle wasn't done quite as well. A mediocre film, with okay acting; fortunately, it isn't too long. The problem with these kinds of films is that they tend to take themselves too seriously.
