This is one for the Dan Duryea fans.

He's going all out!

Then in Duryea's style, so to speak.

Anyone who knows his acting style knows that he sometimes laid it on a bit too thick.

That's certainly the case here, but he gets away with it.

I had the impression that the director mostly let him do his own thing.

I don't mind, I enjoyed it.

He himself more than likely did too at the time.

There are also strong roles from Gwen Watford (a multi-award-winning actress)

None other than Isa Miranda, the popular star actress from the 1930s to the 1950s, who shows here that she can still keep up very well.

And Peter Madden as a credible police commissioner.

You'll never forget his face once you've seen it, although it'll be harder to make the right movie connection.

He was mainly active in smaller roles.

He impressed me in this one.

The story kept me interested, and the Network DVD looks beautiful.

Dureya and Miranda deliver good acting, but script and plot are shaky. Too bad.
