I watched this film once, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that special either. It's a quick watch, and the running time is good—not too long, not too short.

Of course not a difficult story, but that is often the case with these kinds of films.

It's really quite simple: the film delivers exactly what you'd expect. Nothing more, nothing less. A rom-com strung together with the dogs of different owners. Everyone is beautiful, the usual relationship tensions, and in the end, everyone is happy and in love again. But sometimes that's just what you're in the mood for, and then this is a great choice. The acting is as expected (though above Hallmark level), the story is predictable but enjoyable, and the dogs are cute. Lots of sentimentality.

What was disappointing? Initially, the stories aren't connected. And then there are so many stories being told, with the result that you switch to a different storyline almost every minute. I found that really annoying. The film was stuck at 2-2.5 stars. Later, the storylines converge, and it's no longer a problem. Furthermore, I found the ending truly over-the-top. Unnecessary. But hey: a film that delivers what you're supposed to deserve deserves 3 stars. No, it's not a masterpiece, but it's not meant to be one. Woah!
