Berlin's Tempelhof Airport opened in 1923 and, under Adolf Hitler, was expanded to become the world's largest airport which was finally closed in 2008. But even today, Tempelhof remains a place of arrival and departure that is simultaneously used as a refugee residence and recreation park for its residents. from Berlin.
