"There is nothing more dangerous than an astronaut with nothing to lose"
After a poignant event in their youth, Cemal, Kenan and Suzan lose contact with their father Mazhar. Until thirty years later he unexpectedly makes contact: whether his children want to visit their native village Hasanlar, in the Turkish countryside. The frustrated astronaut with no practical experience, the defective voice actor and the unstable teacher embark on a long, nostalgic car ride after a temperamental deliberation in Istanbul.
