Bastaard plot

"Grief is a necessary evil"

Seventeen-year-old Daan does not have it easy. His older brother Robbie died in an accident two years ago, which still leaves traces in the family. His mother Nina locks herself up at home, his father Filip flees in his work. When mother and son meet homeless Rajah, Nina senses an opportunity to fill the void in her life again. Without consultation, she brings Radja into her home. Soon, family relationships wither and sex and violence infect civic security.
