Cold Blooded: The Clutter Family Murders plot

The 1959 quadruple murder of the Clutter family in Holcomb, Kansas became world famous thanks to Truman Capote's international bestseller 'In Cold Blood'. This film is partly a meticulous reconstruction of the case, with a lot of attention for the backgrounds of the victims and the two perpetrators, the trial and finally the execution of the perpetrators in 1965. The role of Capote is also discussed. For the next of kin, the classic non-fiction novel and the gruesome crime are inextricably linked.
