The CCP is being hunted and the revolution is in danger of being lost. However, Mao Zedong has a plan to turn the tide. He plans to involve the peasants in the uprising, a large population group that normally has little political input. With the new influx of troops, they storm Nanchang, a strategic location that would prove important in overthrowing the then regime.
