Lumet deserves a better documentary than this. The interviews with him are fascinating enough, but little else is done to make something interesting out of this. The chosen fragments from his oeuvre are rather unfortunate and often take too long, so that the documentary does not have a nice pace and you quickly lose attention. Too bad, because what quickly becomes clear is how many great films the best man has made.
