Instant Dreams plot
"An extraordinary Polaroid trip."
When Polaroid closed its doors in 2008, it marked the imminent end of their dreams for many. Retired chemist Stephen Herchen left his family to try to unravel the secret of the lost chemical formula; German artist Stefanie Schneider shoots one of her last shoots on original Polaroids in the Californian desert; New York Magazine editor Christopher Bonanos tries to improve his relationship with his son with the latest instant film; and a Japanese girl in Tokyo is just rediscovering the magic of Polaroid. Instant Dreams is an epic poetic tale about four people, whose lives are linked by the fascination and love for the 'instant film' of Polaroid.
