Varoonegi plot
Air pollution in Tehran has reached the ceiling through inversion. Niloofar, a thirty-five-year-old woman who owns a sewing workshop, lives with her mother. She is looking for her old lover when doctors say her mother has to leave Tehran forever because of her breathing problem. Niloofar's brother and the elders of the family decide that she should accompany her mother as she is the youngest child and is still single and childless.
