Mwa.

Nice concept, but not particularly developed. Ruin Me was last on my list for "extreme haunts" horror films. Too bad it wasn't a good film to end with, because I really like the concept. The film itself just doesn't manage to do too much with it.

The first hour goes smoothly and is also closer to my personal interests. Nice mystery stuff in a horror setting. If I were there I would have really enjoyed it anyway, so it was quite fun to follow it all. In between, plenty of light-hearted humor and a nice location to keep the pace going.

The acting is not very high quality, but it is sufficient. Dwyer just doesn't really know how to be a nice final girl and the other cast members hide a little too much behind their type, so the real strength never really comes out. Those types have been done a little too often to remain fun.

Horror is not that exciting, and if you have seen more of these types of films you can guess what awaits you. However, it is not very scary and the bloody parts are very disappointing. If you ask me, the viewing pointer could be close to 12+, but some moments may have been captured a bit too well for that.

Yet the first hour is the most fun when the horror is not necessarily there yet, only when the horror does come does it collapse a bit because it loses some of the entertainment. It's all becoming less and less exciting or interesting, if they had really kept the focus on the games I would have found it a lot more fun. Besides, I quickly figured out the twist.

Nice for once, but one of the weakest of its kind. This mainly has to do with the fact that the horror does not really want to be exciting and therefore the second horror part falls apart more. I had a great time with the first half, but after that I didn't need it anymore.
