"The gang is born"
Top Cat is a poor animal that is lonely and lives on the street. He is sad until he happens to meet the naive Benny, who is kind-hearted and looking for adventure. The two quickly become best friends and henchmen. Pickpocketing helps them get out of poverty. They get bigger ambitions and decide to steal from Mr. Big, who is in charge of New York's slums. Top Cat and Benny hatch a plan but don't realize that success is the beginning of their problems.
