"How much is your family worth?"
A family is on vacation in the Bahamas. After a boat trip that goes wrong, they are stranded on a remote island. They are far from civilization and have no food and water. After a few days, the family comes into contact with two local fishermen who are willing to help them for a fee of one million dollars. The situation escalates.

A great film about a doctor on vacation with his family. They go out for a boat trip and end up on a deserted island, but when they try to return, they find the boat is broken. After a few days, they're rescued, but when the rescuer learns he's a doctor, the man demands money...
Quite entertaining, with some nice twists and turns, and there are some decent scenes that are quite suspenseful. The cast is quite good, by the way, with Danny Glover also making a small appearance as a detective. Definitely worth a solid pass.

I thought the film started off very well and was quite believable at first, but after a while, there are so many twists and turns (how unlucky can one be) that it unfortunately loses a lot of its appeal. The film is, of course, sufficiently entertaining and certainly wasn't boring. The cast did a decent job, and the film looked good. A fine film.

This film lacks credibility; at times, it was a bit over the top, especially in the latter part. But despite that, I enjoyed watching it, and the scenery was also beautiful at times.
I thought Bailey was fantastic in the series From, and he was pretty good in this movie too....
