Small Crimes plot
After serving 6 years in prison for the attempted murder of the district attorney, fallen former cop Joe Denton returns home in search of redemption. To the shame of his parents and abandoned by his wife, it seems like things can't get much worse. But then Joe finds himself trapped in the mess he thought he had left behind; in the crossfire between a mob leader who knows too much, a corrupt sheriff and the vengeful prosecutor.

Nice film about a man who comes out of prison after 6 years, but whose past is not yet done with him. Not really an original plot in itself, but because of the structure in which the past slowly takes shape, it remains entertaining. Fairly dark in tone and the acting is good. Easily 3.0 stars.

An excellent comedy crime drama with a funny story about a prisoner who is released after six years and tries to improve his life. Unfortunately for him, there are a number of people who still have a bone to pick with him... The atmosphere is good, nice black humor and a nice cast. This is not bad at all for a Netflix film. Nice!
