"One Day for Justice"
The scorching heat of a summer's day in rural Hungary in August 1945. A kind of stupor envelops the village. The owner of a pharmacy is getting ready for his son's wedding, the dispatcher is changing the position of the rails at the station, and the coachman is waiting for customers. Two strange men get off the train, dressed in black. They are father and son; survivors of the Holocaust. They walk in silence behind a car on which they transport two suitcases. Rumors spread like wildfire through the village. Do the cases contain powder, perfume and soap, and are these men planning to compete with the local pharmacy? Are they relatives of the former shop owner, a Jew who was first charged and then deported? Fear is quickly spreading throughout the community...
