Vind Die Domme Trut en Gooi Haar in de Rivier plot
Fifteen-year-old Remco, his father and younger sister Lizzy have an illegal puppy trade. Remco does everything he can to be seen by his friends and his father. In one of the many attempts to prove himself, he puts a shocking video on the internet in which his sister throws sick puppies into a river. The impact of the film is much greater than he could have ever imagined.

Sometimes the film lacks some focus and it could all have been a bit tighter, but this was first and foremost an excellent Telefilm, especially due to the strong acting of both brother and sister. In any case, their relationship with each other is completely believable, but they also do well separately. It is also nice how it shows that Remco longs for recognition, presented in a very empathetic (and recognizable too). Nice atmosphere sketch too, but as already mentioned, it could have been tighter. That relationship with that dad didn't have to be so difficult for me. I thought the ending went overboard. I had expected something more subtle, that they found out at that talent show and that was the end of the story. Those are penalty points. Therefore 3.0*.

Father in puppy business orders his children to get rid of the sick young puppies. Sister can perform it and brother makes a video of it and puts it on YouTube. Then we get a lot of family activities and the film seems to meander a bit. But the finish is strong, well filmed and also of the kind that leaves little room for the typically Dutch "Let's all keep it a bit cozy". And also nice to see my own city in a film. You already have a whole movie "A Bridge Too Far". Yes, but it was filmed in Deventer. Acting also excellent. Only the plot could have been a bit more focused in the first hour.
