The Settlers plot
The Six-Day War in 1967 marked the beginning of the colonization of the occupied Palestinian territories. Or of the liberated areas, according to Israeli settlers from the very beginning who believed they had a divine right to them. Successive Israeli governments turned a blind eye for political reasons or were unable to stop colonization. Now, nearly fifty years later, the West Bank is a patchwork of Israeli settlements and outposts, and Palestinian villages and towns. An inextricable tangle that seriously complicates the peace process. The director sketches a historical overview in which leaders of the settler movement look back on the genesis of colonization.
