What emotional baggage? The man has an answer for everything, is overflowing with self-confidence and is the only one who is not afraid to sit in his chair and listen to the tirades of his rich customer.
Nice film in which Gable can shine as a smug advertising executive who has no desire to please his boss's most influential customer.
Deborah Kerr is chosen as the love interest, but her character is actually quite boring and once Gardner appears on the scene, well, you wonder what he sees in Kay.
