"Let the slaughter begin!"

Rome is ravaged by a series of brutal murders. Police inspector Aristide D'Amato and his German partner Hans Ebert start an investigation. They end up with the eccentric professor Vassago. It's starting to look like the murders are related to the return of serial killer Karl the Butcher.
