No, this is really not good. Nazis and zombies, it can be a fun combination. Tommy Wirkola's Dead Sno films are examples of how it can be done. This is pure pulp. It starts with the Allied soldiers. Little to no inspiration. Simply bad acting and incredibly stupid dialogue.

The plot is also very bizarre. Illogical and incoherent too. The zombies actually still look surprisingly okay. Although they look quite similar, on the other hand they look too well-fed. However, the plot jumps from one topic to another and there is no continuity in the various scenes. A girl who suddenly appears, Nazis who are there and then suddenly no more, the captured soldier who has changed clothes from moment to moment ... Lots of fantasy, but rarely a finished whole. It looks like they cut that in the movie.

Not to mention the idyllic flashbacks that really lead nowhere or add value, on the contrary. The end generic that exactly suggests that it is an “in memoriam”. Weakly...

Almost as bad as the truly unwatchable Eaters, also a result of a collaboration between the illustrious trio Boni, Ristori and Boll.

You can tell from everything that Ristori and Boni would have preferred to make a full-blooded WW2 War drama. That is what largely dominates the film. The zombies are forced to feel dragged along. Of course, that can't be the intention of a movie titled Zombie Massacre 2.

We follow some Allied soldiers. Just about the most incapable soldiers you will encounter, with also the loudest footsteps around. Remember how the glass of water shook in Jurassic Park? The Germans must have experienced this too when these American GIs wandered through a nearby meadow.

The film is full of endlessly drawn out scenes in which we stare at unbelievable soldiers standing behind a wall, staring at nothing through binoculars or a visor. Full of flashbacks that add nothing. Full of dialogue that makes no sense. But at the same time everything is taken very seriously by the makers.

After just over half an hour we see the first zombies. The scenes with the zombies have plenty of blood and occasionally even some nice gore when a skull is smashed. But mind you: the zombies are really extras in this film.

Once again a completely hopeless piece of junk from Boni and Ristori.

After a review of Im Westen Nichts Neues earlier in the evening I had arrived at this Zombie Massacre where I was mainly interested in this part with a link to the Third Reich. And after the terrible first part I had some fears for this because with the same producer and directors there would certainly be little improvement and that turned out to be all too true.

Need I name a positive? Oh well why not, and maybe I can even pick two because the makeup and zombies look okay and Lucy Drive is nice for the view. But other than that....Oh my God. It's all so bad in terms of acting, dialogue and two soldiers who look way too old for front line duty. The CGI is terrible not to mention some 'dramatic' moments, fueled by slow motion and difficult facial expressions, that are mostly laughable.

Anyway, it should be clear that this part is also very bad, the dvd can best be labeled as chemical waste and every dollar spent on budget is pure money wasted. Don't start or else quickly forget is my motto.
