"The teeth look like a half-completed Lego project."
I really should have tracked down and watched Joe Dirt first, but anyway. This collection of redneck and film parody sketches, wrapped in a Forrest Gump sauce, certainly managed to charm me. Naturally, some were more successful than others. Back to the Future-style, we first land in 1965; after a dozen years of Cast Away, Miami 1977 appears (on the other side of the piece of land). But ultimately, the story doesn't really matter; just laugh at the silliness and sit through the lame parts. The one-liners certainly roll off the assembly line.
