Avril et le Monde Truqué plot
Paris, 1941. Napoleon V is the ruler of France. Scientists mysteriously disappear. The world has never made the switch to modern technology, so everything is still powered by coal and steam. In this environment, April searches for her parents, who are both scientists and have also disappeared without a trace. Together with her talking cat Darwin and young rascal Julius, she defies the dangers of her highly polluted empire.
