A regular job, a house of her own and someone who loves her - that's all Joli Dornelles wants. But that's easier said than done for a crack addict who's just been released from rehab. Especially if your doctor doesn't believe in your cure and says so, your sister-in-law continues to use it and your father, the one who had you locked up, is committed to helping you achieve his political ambitions. The already not very stable Joli sinks deeper and deeper into delusions and eventually flies out of the corner.
