Il Segreto dell'Acqua plot

Palermo is rocked by a series of bloody reckonings. The man leading the investigation into the murders is Angelo Caronia, a brilliant inspector who has recently moved back to Palermo after years of working in Rome. Angelo discovers a connection between the murders and Palermo's water supply. But the investigation is jeopardized when he clashes with his new teammates whom he accuses of laziness. They, in turn, have nothing to do with their arrogant new boss. Slowly but surely, the team members begin to appreciate Angelo, especially when he discovers new clues through ingenious detective work. But the closer they get to the truth, the more they feel the mafia's hot breath on their necks.
