Owen [John Krasinski] and Zoe [Emily Blunt] share a love for the circus. To prevent their favorite circus from falling into the hands of the megalomaniac Horatio P. Huntington [Ian McKellen] due to financial problems, Owen and Zoe take over daily management. Magical Animal Crackers make it possible to temporarily transform into an animal. This marks a turning point, but naturally, there are hidden catches. Owen and Zoe are rather idealized and the songs aren't all that great, but McKellen throws himself wholeheartedly into his flamboyant villain role and the basic premise is creatively developed.
