After the murder of world-famous fashion designer Gianni Versace, it's up to sister Donatella to continue the great success of his fashion empire. At first no one takes her seriously and the critics have nothing good to say about her. Donatella becomes addicted to drugs and nearly sends the company to bankruptcy. But with the help of her family, she manages to find herself again and convincingly puts her own stamp on the Versace brand.
