Rosewater plot
In 2009, Iranian-Canadian journalist Maziar Bahari reported on Iran's violent elections for Newsweek. He is one of the few journalists who lives there and has access to the American media. When he gives a satirical interview with Jon Stewart on the Dailyshow, the authorities in Tehran feel hurt. As a result, Bahari is chased, lifted from his bed at his family's home and captured. He is eventually held captive, interrogated and mistreated for 118 days.
