Danny Lohman is an actor who takes his homework a little too seriously. Pip Armstrong, his ex, owns a management foundation, but also has a good nose for finding difficulties. Together, they enlist the help of an annoying private detective, Jimmy Peppicelli, to stop a series of crimes, prompting a reaction from the mafia.
