Not an impressive continuation within this surprisingly extensive horror universe from Turkey. After experimenting a lot with computer effects and religious themes, director Hasan Karacadag takes off this time with Paranormal Activity. So we are stuck with a found footage this time, but it all turns out even less than before. Especially because Karacadag actually tried to create something unique with the previous parts and this time he colors very well within the lines. This means that there are a lot of ineffective scares, stupid decisions, annoying relatives and a meaningless history background. The most absurd thing about the whole thing is that the makers have managed to stretch something so contentless to 119 minutes. The very last 10 minutes still have a certain tension, otherwise it is mainly safe ghosts and growls. I got the strong impression that the actors as well as the screenwriters forgot that everything had to be filmed via a camera, because the story seems to do anything but take this into account. A father who, for example, runs towards his daughter with a camera and shouting during a life-threatening situation, you just wouldn't make something like that up.
