Fans were treated to a Breaking Bad reunion this past weekend when the cast showed up together to present an award at the Screen Actors' Guild Awards.
It was the 10-year anniversary since the cast of Breaking Bad won the award for Best Drama Ensemble, so it seemed fitting that they be the crew to present the award for the 2024 ceremony.
Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Bob Odenkirk, R.J. Mitte, Anna Gunn, Jonathan Banks, Dean Norris and Betsy Brandt were all on the stage to put together a lovely little skit, pretending to do a cheesy countdown of the word E.N.S.E.M.B.L.E with every letter having a profound meaning.
"Ensemble - the E stands for the excellence that each cast member brings to every exciting episode," Gunn said. "And the letter N... N stands for no, no f------ way I'm going to do this cheesy thing where you say each letter of the word. I'm not doing it," Odenkirk interjected.
"I think we have to, it's on the teleprompter," Paul suggested before Norris, who played Hank, replied: "Teleprompter my a--; I got a beer and a couple shots backstage, so let's get this thing going."
Mitte said even his grandmother would think the skit was cheesy, before Brandt warned that SAG would be unhappy with them.
