After the first season a completely new story, with new characters and new actors.... except one: Rakie Ayola. In season 1 she plays chief of police DS Holland and in season 2 the social worker Christine Rees. This immediately caused some confusion as I was not focused on the surnames of those two roles; so they have nothing to do with each other. I found season 2 a bit less than season 1. In season 1 it was already clear in the first episode what the 'pact' was, in season 2 this took several episodes. The pace was just lower and the drama level a lot higher. In terms of suspense, it was also a lot less, although towards the end of season 2, thanks to a comment from Gethin, another unexpected surprise surfaced.

Definitely a bad series, it was slow and very badly written! Honestly there were so many details that were so lame that as a mere mortal I think, can't you see?
