Possession plot

Claudia McKenzie, an ambitious young lawyer, travels to Jamaica to settle an inheritance dispute between local resident Cudjoe East and Oliver Connaught, a wealthy white aristocrat. However, the case takes a disturbing turn when Claudia discovers that the disputed estate is the very place that haunts her nightmares: Hope Hill, the Connaught family's former plantation. As Claudia and Oliver delve deeper into the case, they uncover a disturbing connection between the plantation's cruel past and the injustice that still marks the present.
