Eight singles take the step to tie the knot with a complete stranger. A team of experts matches the bachelors based on scientific research. The candidates who are paired together see each other for the first time at their wedding, a few minutes before the yes. After the wedding, the newlyweds go on their honeymoon to finally get to know each other. After five weeks of marriage, the candidates come back to the experts and make the decision: stay married or get divorced?
