De Rugzak plot

Eight famous Flemish people without climbing experience will take on a physical and mental challenge towards the top of the highest mountain in Africa: the legendary Kilimanjaro. During this undertaking, the participants will wear a special backpack that literally and figuratively encompasses their life story. These backpacks are equipped with intelligent camera systems that record the emotions of the climbers from very close by during the entire journey. The backpacks symbolise the imaginary baggage that the celebrities carry with them and contain tubes that were filled by friends, family and colleagues from home. The items in these tubes represent the most important moments in their life path. Their contents will only be revealed during the journey.

Te geacteerd, te betuttelend en ook uit de kokers kwamen weinig begeesterende levensbeschouwingen. Een ontgoocheling. Alleen de natuur verdiende punten, maar de berg baarde een muis.

Too acted, too patronizing and there were few inspiring philosophies of life coming from the writers.

A disappointment.

Only nature earned points, but the mountain gave birth to a mouse.
