Sister Klivia presides over a retirement home where the residents are anything but old or ill, but have their own idiosyncratic pursuits. Jet does something with wigs, Bert likes to tinker, Bobby grows spinach in the garden and the engineer experiments in the basement. Things get even worse when burglar Gerrit attacks the unfriendly landlord and neighbor Boordevol, and then his grandfather shows up again.
